The clock has fixed hands, and the time is read from a pair of dials rotating counterclockwise, which enhances the unique experience of watching it. The suspended model of a hot air balloon slowly rises over time and signals each hour by dropping. The design of the model, inspired by the industrial revolution and aviation pioneers, will appeal not only to technical minds but also to romantic souls. The clock is equipped with a mechanism for adjusting the equilibrium position. It is wound by a main weight, a cloth bag (included in the package) into which sand or salt is poured. Fine tuning of the mechanism is performed using weights on the pendulums, and another weight can be used to regulate the descent speed of the hot air balloon model. The dials and exact time are set using a mechanical latch. Comes with detailed assembly instructions.
