"Syllables in Dominoes" is an educational game in which tiles with syllables are placed to form two-syllable words.

It is designed for preschoolers and elementary school students aged 6 and up, and will also be appreciated by those who have a first grader at home and work with them.

While playing, players expand and enrich their vocabulary, practice their perception, and, last but not least, learn how to spell compound words correctly. The box includes instructions for two different fun games.

Time spent playing the game guarantees exciting fun for the whole family and can also be a useful tool for therapists, speech therapists, and teachers.

It is also a great way for children to learn to read and write syllables more easily while having fun. Learning can be fun—and fun can be learning!

Adults need not worry that they will be bored playing with children if they decide to compete with them. Putting together and finding the right syllables can sometimes be challenging.

 

HOW TO PLAY:

The game is based on traditional dominoes, where tiles with the same number of dots are placed side by side. Here, the dots are replaced by syllables.

Younger players or beginning schoolchildren can use the "Word Composition Table" as a hint during the game. One of the two game variants is designed specifically for them.

The game is played by placing tiles next to each other in the classic way. Players divide the specified number of tiles with syllables among themselves. The youngest player starts, and then the other players take turns placing their tiles clockwise.

Each time a tile is placed, it must form a complete two-syllable word.

Tokens are used in the game as jokers, which the player hands over whenever they use a hint.

In case of disputes or ambiguities, the Czech Language Dictionary can be used for the game.

And be careful! Abbreviations may not be used or combined.
