Radis et Capucine

Radis et Capucine is a small company based in Trélazé, France, which has been designing, manufacturing, and selling home kits for organic urban gardening, nature exploration, organic food preparation, and organic cosmetics since 1997. The history of the Radis et Capucine family began in 1927 with grandfather Griffaton, who was a seed producer in Anjou. Today, the third generation is in the seed business, but not like the others. The company makes gardening a simple and fun game. It focuses on those who do not know how to garden, live in the city, and want to give themselves or someone close to them a small garden ready for use (for indoor growing). They are a member of the French association of seed companies and are certified by Ecocert as eligible to supply organic seeds. The kits comply with CE and EN 71 standards, although these are not mandatory for single-use seedlings. In 2015, with the involvement of designer Maryse Gilbert, Radis et Capucine also created the Bijou végétal brand, a range of resin and silver jewelry with natural or stabilized plant interiors.
