Using a unique sorting box with holes, children can explore numbers, colors, and shapes. There are several options. Children sort colors or shapes according to the markings on the lid, or shapes and numbers according to the markings on the sides of the box. They practice recognizing numbers, colors, and shapes by throwing tokens according to color, shape, or number into the appropriate holes. The tokens come in different colors and shapes and are marked with numbers from 1 to 5. Sorting and recognizing numbers, colors, and shapes develops sensory perception, motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. The English brand Bigjigs Toys was founded in 1985 and initially focused solely on the production of wooden puzzles. The owners made everything by hand, with love, in a small garden shed and sold their products at the market. Other large retailers in England took notice of the new brand of high-quality and imaginative toys. Today, Bigjigs Toys remains family-owned with huge warehouses in southeast England. The company continues to supply its toys to a wide customer base in the UK and Western Europe, supported by a loyal, dedicated, and hard-working team of employees.
