The year is 1430, and the Hussite Wars are raging in the Czech lands. Six wealthy Lusatian towns have joined forces to protect their trade from marauding knights, forming the so-called Six Towns. Players take on the role of young, ambitious nobles who long to gain status at the court of King Sigismund. Only those who prove themselves most capable at collecting taxes and securing the support of the estates have a chance to rest at his side. You travel around the cities, collect taxes, and transport the accumulated wealth to the royal and estates' warehouses. This earns you points of royal favor and the support of the individual estates. The game lasts 6 rounds, and each round has 6 phases. It is up to you to choose your strategy. There are several paths to victory. This family game from renowned designer Vláďa Suchý will provide you with lots of fun, strategic decisions, develop your logical and combinatorial skills, and train your negotiating and business acumen. The game has several difficulty levels, great replayability, and rules for two players.

Abbreviated game instructions

Turn over the status cards, draw the attacked cities, and place the tax tokens.
Compete for cities in which you will collect taxes (in the order indicated by the arrow).
Determine the order for collecting taxes. The players' markers are rearranged according to how many soldiers the players used when selecting a city.
Choose the forms of tax collection (in the order indicated by the arrow).
In order of the number of horses obtained, gradually choose the order in which you will fill the warehouses, and you will gain favor with possible bonuses.
The winner of the game is the tax collector who has earned the most favor points and thus the highest position in the court of King Sigismund.
