Since 2005, the French brand Jolijou has been producing rag dolls that are flexible and lightweight, helping to develop fine motor skills, cognitive skills, speech, and emotional development, as well as supporting imagination and creativity. Based in the Val-d'Oise prefecture, the creative team develops and innovates not only the design but also the process of obtaining materials. Emphasis is placed on the final quality of the products.

Rag dolls existed as far back as the Roman Empire, making them one of the oldest toys. Historically, they were used as comfort and educational toys, but children also learned to sew with them. Children start playing with dolls around 18 months of age, which is why Joulijou dolls are lightweight and easy to handle. The doll accompanies children as they grow, playing a different important role at each age. The Jolijou product range includes products made from organic cotton. The dolls are suitable for all children.
