Hess was founded by Günter Hess in the small German town of Olbernhau in 1990. At first, the owner worked on the toys alone in his basement and garage, but today the company employs more than 50 people. All toys are assembled by hand. Hess focuses on infants and toddlers, so the safety of toys that comply with EN 71 and other safety regulations is important. It produces a wide range of colorful and innovative toys for children. Hess uses only local wood such as beech and maple and always processes it with respect for the environment and using nature-friendly materials. Their goal is to make children's lives a little more interesting, to support and accompany them in their development.
