Grass tufts give scenes an exceptionally natural look, combined with a variety of grass fibers, stones, sprinkles, and flakes. This creates specific variants for a wide range of uses—from summer meadows and flowering gardens to roadside verges and forest glades. The tufts are ideal for model railways and landscape scenes, and can also be used by modelers to create bases or small scenes. Individual tufts can be easily glued with landscape glue. If they are inserted into a larger grassy area, it is recommended to place them directly into the base coated with grass glue. After drying, the entire surface is covered with additional layers of sprinkles, flakes, or grass fibers, creating a smooth, natural transition to the surrounding greenery.

The German company Noch was founded in 1911 by Oswald Noch as a plumbing company. Over the past 100 years, it has survived two world wars and nationalization in the GDR.
