What is ButtenFilm?

ButtenFilm is a unique polymer material, also known as "polyethylene paper." This material looks like parchment paper or baking paper, but it is resistant to both water and oil. You can draw on it with pens or markers, as well as crayons, alcohol markers, or even watercolors and tempera paints (which is almost impossible with regular PE material). In addition, ButtenFilm is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The word "Bütten" means "handmade paper" in German.
