The main building of the E. Strauss glassworks from the PIKO Authentic Edition series is part of a series of kits for this extensive industrial complex and cannot be used on its own. The building faithfully reproduces the location and size of the attractive windows, and the building materials used, a combination of brick and stone, are rendered in detail. The elegant arched roof is decorated with numerous details, ventilation outlets, and railings. The doors of the building are functional and can be opened. The glassworks set is completed by kits for an adjacent building, a chimney, fencing, and a specially designed crane with accessories. The set also includes a large base for completing the factory yard, ready for the installation of a railway track passing through it. Other items shown in the picture (cars, figures, etc.) are not included. PIKO plastic miniatures can be used in the design of realistic railways and dioramas. With their sophisticated coloring, which in this series also includes patina, they imitate their models with maximum fidelity, which in some cases can be further enhanced individually using the included decals. The detailed and precise plastic mouldings of the individual parts fit together smoothly, and thanks to the detailed instructions included with each kit, assembly is easy, so you can devote your valuable time to the unique design of the landscape and the layout of the individual elements on the scene. The accessories offered for these models include a variety of add-ons, consumables, and a guide with instructions and valuable advice for track design. Made in Germany in accordance with the strictest quality standards.
