The model of the Traxx 2 electric locomotive, designated BR 146.2, in the German railway design is typically used to pull modern trains with double-decker passenger cars.

The miniature is particularly impressive with its robust zinc-cast chassis, which carefully reproduces even the smallest details of the bearings, brake components, and suspension. The spartan, clean body with its typical side covers is crowned by a precisely rendered roof landscape with ventilation grilles and a pair of pantographs. A number of other details enhance the realistic impression, including steps, footboards, and separately attached handrails. The details are emphasized by the highest quality paintwork, and the sharp printing naturally captures not only the decorative elements on the sides of the cab, but also all other markings and pictograms.

The locomotive is equipped with a powerful motor with a large flywheel ensuring smooth operation. Torque is transmitted by diagonally arranged bandaged wheels on the inner axles of the chassis, but all four axles are driven. The three lights on the front illuminate and change color depending on the direction of travel. The model can be expanded with a specially designed digital decoder with a sound module and speaker.
