The train features detailed moldings, realistic windows, insulators, and a figurine of the train driver in the front car. The paintwork and printing correspond to the original, including the train number. The set consists of two front cars, one first class and one second class, and a pair of second class cars, a transformer car with a pantograph, and a dining (driving) car. The white/red LED lighting changes depending on the direction of travel. The set can be expanded with specially designed cars and a digital decoder. The model uses non-standard short couplers with connectors.
