PlanToys is a successful manufacturer of high-quality eco-friendly toys with more than 30 years of experience. The company was founded in southern Thailand in 1981 and continues to operate there today. It uses wood from rubber trees that no longer produce latex. The company purchases this wood from local farmers, for whom it no longer has any value, while also ensuring that new trees are replanted. The manufacturing process is designed to maximise energy efficiency through the use of solar energy and biomass while generating no waste. PlanToys uses formaldehyde-free glue and water-based paints that are safe and free from lead and other heavy metals. Recycled paper is used for packaging and printed materials. The toys are certified according to FSC® (responsible forest management), ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). The company has also received OHSAS 18001 certification for occupational health and safety, reflecting its commitment to employee well-being and a safe working environment. Among its workforce are people with disabilities. PlanToys also regularly sponsors children's clubs, playgrounds, libraries and playrooms, and even works together with mothers of children with disabilities to develop toys that help meet their children's needs. PlanToys toys encourage play, creativity and learning about the world around us. Their success is also reflected in dozens of awards received from around the world.
