This set of two Uacs 451.1 silo wagons faithfully reproduces wagons designed for the transport of powdered and bulk materials. The models represent wagons operated by the Czechoslovak State Railways during Epoch IV and stand out with their high level of detail.

 

The increasing transport of powdered materials, especially cement, at the end of the 1950s created a need for new silo wagons. These wagons, used for the bulk transport of loose materials, were owned by cement and lime manufacturers and were incorporated into the CSD fleet as privately owned wagons.

 

The models feature numerous separately fitted details, including freestanding handrails, railings, ladders and pipes. Perforated walkways and other finely executed components enhance the realistic appearance. The wagons are fully equipped with detailing parts and are ideal for forming realistic unit trains.
