The Roco G½ straight switching track with roadbed is designed for the automatic triggering of functions on a model railway layout. The track features a potential-free switching contact that generates a switching pulse when an axle passes over it. The switching track is 115 mm long—half the standard length of a ROCO LINE track section. The switching pulse is triggered by the passage of axles with a flange height of 1.1 mm, in accordance with the ROCO standard. The track is equipped with interference suppression to limit switching spikes and protection against contact bounce. It can also be used as a momentary feedback contact in conjunction with feedback module 10787 or Detector 10808.
