The BWr2/3 right curved turnout from the ROCO LINE track system is designed for H0 scale model railways. The radius of both the main and diverging track is 358 mm (R2), with a curve angle of 30°. The turnout is supplied without a drive. The frog and check rails have been completely redesigned, prototypical running through the frog is possible, the flangeway width in the frog area complies with the NEM standard, and the frog can be polarised when using electric ROCO turnout drives.
Key features:
- BWr2/3 right curved turnout
- H0 scale (1:87)
- main and diverging track radius 358 mm (R2)
- curve angle 30°
- rail profile height 2.1 mm
- ROCO LINE track system
- supplied without drive
- completely redesigned frog and check rails
- prototypical running through the frog
- flangeway width in the frog area according to the NEM standard
- frog can be polarised with electric ROCO turnout drives
Suitable drives:
- 40295 or 40296 – electric turnout drive
- 40297 or 40298 – manual turnout drive
- 10030 – underfloor turnout drive
Note:
The R2/R3 curved turnout is only suitable to a limited extent for long, true-to-scale express train coaches with a length over buffers of more than 300 mm, as the spacing between the parallel tracks is geometrically slightly reduced in the opposite turnout area. Two coaches with a length over buffers of more than 300 mm therefore cannot pass each other without interference.
