New for 2023. Like the prototype, the S499.02 model represents a further development of the legendary “Laminátka”. Both series share the same excellent model quality. This is clearly evident in the precise reproduction of the locomotive body with its distinctive fan band, whose engraved detailing gives the model a striking three-dimensional appearance. The engine room windows above it are perfectly flush-fitted. A special feature is the framing of the front windows, achieved with separately applied frames in 1:87 scale. The ventilation openings next to the windows are also reproduced as individual parts. In addition to its exterior detailing, the model also impresses technically. Particularly noteworthy is the chassis lighting with finely detailed lamp lenses. Thanks to the PluX22 interface, the analogue version can be quickly fitted with a decoder and then provides the same lighting functions as the digital model.
