Step into the history of World War II with the Sluban ModelBricks Normandy D-Day construction set. Using 2,235 pieces, you can build the church in Sainte-Mère-Église along with a military half-track vehicle. The church model features a detailed interior and a removable wall section, allowing you to look inside and explore its layout. The set includes 10 figures: 5 German soldiers, 4 American soldiers, and 1 member of the French Resistance. Among the American soldiers is a paratrooper with a parachute—a reference to the famous incident involving the church tower in Sainte-Mère-Église. The combination of a historic building, a military vehicle, and figures offers endless possibilities for recreating scenes inspired by World War II events. The church in Sainte-Mère-Église gained fame during the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944. American paratrooper John Steele became caught on the church tower with his parachute during the jump, and his story has since become one of the enduring symbols of D-Day. This event is also depicted in the 1962 film *The Longest Day*.

Assembling this construction set helps develop fine motor skills, patience, concentration, and spatial awareness. The set is compatible with building sets from other brands, including LEGO®.
