Build a model of the legendary British heavy bomber, the Lancaster, using the Sluban ModelBricks M38-B1609 construction set. The kit contains 1,383 pieces, which allow you to assemble a four-engine aircraft in 1:44 scale. The model features several moving parts: the propellers rotate, the onboard weapons can be repositioned, and the bomb bay complete with bombs can be opened. A display stand is included, allowing you to showcase the finished bomber and fully appreciate its distinctive silhouette, characterized by its massive wings and four engines.

The set does not include any figures, focusing instead on the aircraft itself and its structural details. Assembling a model of this size offers a great opportunity for patient, step-by-step construction. Parents or grandparents can also join in, enjoying quality time together while building this intricate model a perfect addition to any collection once completed.

The Lancaster was one of the most significant British bombers of the Second World War. Manufactured by Avro, the aircraft entered service in 1942 and became a cornerstone of the RAF Bomber Command. Its actual crew consisted of seven members. The Lancaster is famously associated with the RAF’s 617 Squadron, which used specially modified versions of the aircraft during Operation Chastise in May 1943 better known as the "Dambusters" raid in which German dams were targeted. This construction set represents the Lancaster type; however, it is not a confirmed replica of a specific aircraft from this operation.

The Sluban ModelBricks series offers building sets featuring vehicles, military equipment, and other models made from construction bricks. Assembling these sets helps develop fine motor skills, patience, concentration, and spatial awareness. The set is compatible with building sets from other brands, including LEGO®, Cobi, and Mega Bloks.

This applies both to pieces from the same brand and to pieces from other high-quality building set brands, such as LEGO®. The Sluban brand is known all over the world – in Eastern and Western Europe, the USA, Canada, Russia, Australia, Hong Kong, India, and elsewhere. In China, where the brand's production plant is located, it completely outshines all other manufacturers. Whether in terms of workmanship, quality, or even its own development team.
