What does history sound like? A plywood gramophone kit. Its retro design, inspired by the gramophone invented by Thomas Edison, will transport you back to the 19th century. It's not just a model; it can actually play records and comes with a 7" gramophone record containing three songs (The Merry Gent, Memory Of A Dance, The Giant Killers). The device has a hand-crank-powered mechanism and dynamo. However, it can also be powered electrically using the built-in micro-USB connector. It supports 17.5 cm (7") and 25 cm (10") records and all corresponding playback speeds. The playback volume can be adjusted using a rotary control.
