This model set represents a 3-piece branch line train (Nebenbahnzug) of the German Federal Railway (DB) in Era III. The set includes two passenger cars – one 2nd/3rd class passenger car (BCi) and one 3rd class passenger car (Ci) – and one covered freight car with a brakeman's cab (G). The models are in H0 scale (1:87) and are detailed, with interior fittings. The freight car is equipped with two movable sliding doors, which add authentic detail. The set is suitable for operation with analog DC (direct current) power and is ideal for model railways in the style of the 1950s–1960s, for example with the BR 89.70 DB steam locomotive.
