The turnout is manually operated but is compatible with an electric turnout motor (models 42620 or 42624), allowing for automated switching. The frog polarization is pre-installed, and the frog itself has been completely redesigned for smooth and trouble-free passage. The width of the groove in the frog area complies with NEM standards, ensuring trouble-free operation and compatibility with other model railway components.
