Assemble and bring to life the terrifying ancient predator that once roamed the Earth. Tyrannosaurus Rex is a mechanical DIY wooden model of a walking tyrannosaurus. It is powered by a metal spring that transfers power through a reduction gear, rotating the axle that drives the legs. A clever linkage system allows this king of dinosaurs to walk on its own legs. An eccentric gear wheel puts the tail in synchronous motion with the legs, helping the dinosaur maintain its balance and not fall to the side, just like in nature. This amazing walking dinosaur model is a wind-up DIY wooden miniature model of an adult Tyrannosaurus Rex. A winding key is hidden in the upper part of the tail. Remove the key and insert it into the ratchet mechanism on the left side of the dinosaur, making sure that the head of the left femur is out of the hole (if necessary, switch the switch to the "on" position and then turn the device above the T-Rex's shoulders to move the leg). Flip the switch to the "off" position (towards the head) and wind the mechanism clockwise half a dozen times, returning the key to its position between the tail and body. Place the Tyrannosaurus on a smooth, flat surface, hold the automaton by the body (do not squeeze the legs together!), flip the switch, and release. Your Tyrannosaurus will slink away in search of its next meal, its tail swaying and jaws snapping up and down in anticipation. It's actually a little scary! Any fan who appreciates amazing design and mechanics will want to add the T-Rex to their collection.
