This 3D wooden model sailboat is a precision piece with two bright white paper sails and comes with its own sturdy stand for display on a shelf, mantelpiece, or table. The model differs slightly from other Ugears mechanical models in that the yacht has no gears and is not powered by a spring or rubber motor—it is intended more as an attractive display piece to decorate your home or office.

This wooden DIY yacht model has a curved mainsail with a swing boom and a triangular jib, both attached to a tall mast with spreaders for the right and left sides. The deck is lined with struts and rope railings. Two life jackets and an anchor add further realistic elements to the ship. At the stern is a flagpole for flying the yacht's flag - leave the white paper flag blank, color it in, or stick a sticker or printout of any national flag or yacht club flag on it.

This wooden model yacht with a 3D puzzle has a large cockpit with two wheels that turn (it's Ugears, so we have to have some moving parts!), and an open transom for draining seawater when a wave hits the stern in rough seas, or when you see a big wave at the bow that washes over the deck. The open transom is also good for swimming from the rear or for getting on and off the model boat, which is pulled behind the yacht on a rope (included).
