Soldiers used wooden towers to reach enemy walls and attempt to conquer them, while archers positioned inside attacked enemy soldiers from a distance. During the Middle Ages, towers became more sophisticated and complex than in previous centuries. Their weakness was their flammability, combined with the fact that they only worked when used close to enemy walls, leaving them completely exposed to fire.

 

Be enchanted by the new range of Walachia CREATIVE KITS, consisting of precisely made and carefully machined pine wood blocks measuring 9×9 mm in lengths from 16 to 230 mm, smooth 3 mm thick plywood and, in some kits, paper prints. The individual parts are glued together with commonly available wood and paper glue (not included). Each set includes simple illustrated instructions that will guide you step by step through the entire construction process.

These associations, together with the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and the Municipal Museum in Kamenice nad Lipou, award the prize at the Hračkobraní festival, which has been held annually since 2006 at the castle in Kamenice nad Lipou, where you can also see a permanent exhibition of all the award-winning toys.
