The wooden construction kit contains wooden blocks of specific lengths for building log walls, roof and gable parts, cardboard window and door cutouts, and pre-printed paper prints. The kit includes a schematic assembly plan.

HOBBY KITS contain everything you need for assembly. Simple pictorial instructions with symbols for each step are provided, so children all over the world can assemble them. The basic building material consists of precisely made pine wood blocks measuring 9×9 mm in lengths from 16 to 230 mm, intended for building log walls. The surfaces of roofs, gables, balconies, and terraces are made of 3 mm plywood and covered with paper prints. The functional doors and windows, glazed with foil, are made of printed cardboard. The individual buildings are glued together with wood and paper glue (not included). The instructions include short chapters on construction and the history of folk architecture. The models are built to a scale of 1:32.

The finished buildings are aesthetic additions to children's rooms, can be used for playing with toy cars, animals, soldiers, and dolls, and can form the basis of a folk nativity scene at Christmas.

History of the building

Granaries were buildings used for agricultural purposes. They were mainly used to store grain. They were built as single-story, two-story, or multi-story buildings with galleries accessible by internal or external staircases. Lighter grain, such as oats, dried fruit, and other agricultural products, was stored on the upper floors. In fruit-growing areas, fruit was also stored in granaries. Tools and older discarded items were also kept here. In the summer months, people also slept in the granaries. On farms on the edge of the mountains, granaries were mainly located as separate buildings in places where they were clearly visible and safely protected from fire.

The "Správná hračka" (Good Toy) label is awarded to products aimed at preschool children that excel in educational qualities, high standards of workmanship, comfort of use, and aesthetic appeal. The aim of the award's creators is to provide guidance and appeal to parents and educators who want to influence the direction of the market and consider the healthy personal development of children to be of paramount importance. In this way, the creators want to encourage the expansion and development of new valuable toys and games. The award has been presented since 1994 and is a joint project of the Association for Toys and Games, the Toy Association of the Union of Fine Artists of the Czech Republic, and the Association for Preschool Education. These associations, together with the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and the Municipal Museum in Kamenice nad Lipou, award the prize at the Hračkobraní festival, which has been held annually since 2006 at the castle in Kamenice nad Lipou, where you can also see a permanent exhibition of all the award-winning toys.
