The BMW Isetta is a 1:34 scale model with all the details inside and out, from the round headlights to the distinctive opening door. The combination of metal and plastic ensures durability and a long service life.

The Isetta was a two-seater mini car with a front-hinged front wall instead of doors, manufactured by the Italian company Iso in 1953. The aerodynamic, bulbous car was designed by aeronautical engineers Ermenegildo Preti and Pierluigi Raggi. The steel sheet body was supported by a tubular frame. The front wall, which could be opened forward along with the steering wheel, allowed entry like into a refrigerator. The canvas roof served as an emergency exit. The car was 2.3 m long, 1.3 m high, and 1.3 m wide, had a curb weight of 360 kg, and reached a maximum speed of 75 km/h. The car became very popular until the end of the 1960s due to its affordability and low fuel consumption. Iso later sold the production license abroad – first to Germany, where BMW successfully took over production, and also to France, Spain, Belgium, England, and Brazil.
