The detailed model of the BR 388 Metrans Cargo electric locomotive is new for 2025. The 187 series, the first representative of the third generation of Traxx locomotives from Bombardier, is a modern electric two-axle locomotive for 15 kV and 16.7 Hz as well as 25 kV 50 Hz AC systems. A special feature of the new design is the 180 kW diesel auxiliary engine, which allows short sections without overhead lines to be covered at a speed of approximately 50 km/h.
