The Rh S 489.0 electric locomotive model in a dynamic color scheme is new for 2024 and has been carefully crafted with great attention to detail. It is powered by a 5-pole motor with two flywheels and equipped with modern LED lighting, the color of which (red and white) changes depending on the direction of travel. The locomotive has a PluX22 interface for easy retrofitting with a digital decoder. Thanks to the generously dimensioned speaker holder, sound can also be easily retrofitted.

The locomotive was nicknamed Laminátka (Laminate) after the material used for its body, which was made of laminate materials, which was technologically advanced and unusual at the time.
