New in 2025. The model of the electric locomotive Rh 242 "Tinker" in the Czech Railways (ČD) design is a faithful replica of the real 242 series machine used in the VI era. It is an analog model with prepared interfaces for additional modernization. The model impresses with its stylish design, high-quality details on the body and chassis, and technical design corresponding to real operation. The S 499.02 series locomotives were manufactured for the Czechoslovak State Railways and were renamed the 242 series after 1988. At the Czech Railways, these universal four-axle electric locomotives are used in passenger and light freight transport. Thanks to their reliability, they are among the long-term machines of the Czech Railways. This model is an ideal choice for young and old model railway enthusiasts who are looking for a high-quality and realistically crafted electric locomotive for their set.
