This detailed model of the E669.1 electric locomotive is new for 2025. The six-axle E 669.1 series electric locomotives have been proving themselves in heavy freight transport for more than half a century. They were developed from two prototypes of the E 660.0 class with the aim of avoiding freight trains pulled by double traction. Škoda supplied them to the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) in the early 1960s, and 150 units were deployed on the DC network in the north and east of the former Czechoslovakia. With the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, the entire series, now known as 181, was transferred to the new Czech Railways (ČD). Five units are still in operation today as push locomotives under the auspices of ČD Cargo.
