A highly accurate model of the electric version of the Vectron locomotive, which will satisfy the demands of fans seeking the latest technology, has a number of accessories based on a solid zinc die-cast frame and is equipped with proven PIKO standards. The model takes into account subtle differences in design, including chassis dimensions and numerous other structural details visible from the outside. This variant is particularly interesting due to its four detailed metal pantographs. The model is equipped with a powerful motor with flywheels, and the torque is transmitted by two diagonally arranged bandaged wheels on the inner axles of the chassis. The white/red LED lighting changes depending on the direction of travel. The model includes a PIKO sound decoder. The front and rear lights are illuminated by LEDs, with red or white changing depending on the direction of travel.

 

Siemens Vectron is a class of modular multi-purpose locomotives from Siemens Mobility. It is manufactured in Munich, Germany, and is planned as the successor to the successful EuroSprinter series. Originally, they were to be purely electric, but in 2010, a version with a diesel engine was also introduced. The locomotives were also offered to Amtrak in the United States. The version was modified for American railways and is called Amtrak Cities Sprinter. In 2021, the Railway Administration purchased a nearly new locomotive 193 901 from Siemens Mobility. It was manufactured in 2010 and was used for testing purposes by its manufacturer until it was sold to the Railway Administration.
