New in 2024, a powerful, compact and extremely finely crafted steam locomotive BR 62 in the DB era III design. PIKO faithfully reproduced the characteristic design of the original, including a fine frame, detailed running gear and brake rod. Crystal-clear window panels and a detailed cabin interior allow a view of the sophisticated details of the boiler and the driver's station.

 

Metal and zinc parts give the model a high weight, which in combination with the engine with flywheels ensures excellent driving characteristics. The Expert Plus model is factory-equipped with a PIKO sound decoder, a digitally controlled clutch and a pulse vaporizer synchronized with the movement of the wheels. There is also a switchable running gear and driver's cabin lighting or a digitally controlled furnace effect.
