The H0 scale (1:87) diesel locomotive 108 001-9 is a detailed model based on the actual Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) shunting diesel locomotive from Era IV (1970–1990). The 108 series locomotives were based on the design of the 110 series (originally V100), but unlike them, they were equipped with a reverse flow gearbox and a more economical engine with reduced power. As part of the conversion for shunting service, the boiler was often removed and replaced with additional cooling units and an engine preheater.

The model is made with many separately mounted parts and fine free-standing handrails that enhance its realism. The lighting system includes switchable front and rear lights, controlled by a DIP switch, allowing for a faithful representation of the lights according to the direction of travel.

This model is new for 2025 and is suitable for collectors and demanding modelers alike, thanks to its high level of detail and functional design.
