The 750 locomotive is a diesel locomotive with electric power transmission, which was created in ČKD Praha by reconstructing the 753 series locomotives and adding an electric heating alternator. Several dozen of these modified machines are still in operation in freight transport at ČD Cargo and other operators. These locomotives earned their nickname Brejlovec (Glasses) thanks to their distinctive front windows set into the slightly protruding upper part of the cab. The locomotives were used on domestic lines for freight and passenger transport as far as the Austrian and German border stations.
