The diesel locomotive T 679.1 ČSD, known by the nickname "Sergej", is a detailed model in H0 scale (1:87), corresponding to a real locomotive of the Czechoslovak State Railways from epoch IV. The real locomotives of this series were produced since 1966 and were among the most powerful diesel engines of their time, especially for heavy freight transport. The model faithfully captures the characteristic appearance of the locomotive in the typical ČSD paint and offers a high level of detail, including precisely machined bogies, fine individually mounted parts and realistic printing.

This version is factory-equipped with a digital DCC decoder (PluX22) and is designed for 2-rail digital operation. The locomotive has a five-pole motor with a flywheel, which ensures smooth and quiet operation even at slow speeds. The LED lighting is dependent on the direction of travel and includes the typical arrangement of three white lights at the front and two red lights at the rear, while the lighting functions can be controlled digitally. The NEM 362 coupler with short kinematics, good driving characteristics and operability from a minimum radius of 358 mm are a matter of course.

Thanks to its robust construction and authentic workmanship, this locomotive is an ideal choice for a realistic ČSD track, especially for heavy freight trains typical of the 1970s and 1980s. The locomotive is suitable for both demanding modelers and collectors looking for an iconic Czechoslovak diesel in a modern digital design.
