The model of the electric locomotive 372 001-8 of the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) is made in H0 scale (1:87) and represents the first prototype of this dual-system locomotive from the epoch IV period. The model impresses with its faithful historical design and precisely processed details of the body and bogies. The locomotive is equipped with a digital decoder for control in the DCC system, which allows smooth operation and control of lighting functions. Direction-dependent lighting in the configuration of three white lights at the front and two red lights at the rear is a matter of course. Thanks to the high-quality flywheel drive, the model offers very good driving characteristics and reliable operation on the track. The locomotive 372 001-8 was the first prototype of a dual-system electric locomotive designed for international traffic between Czechoslovakia and Germany. It was developed based on the ES 499.1 series (later 363) and adapted for operation under two power supply systems (3 kV DC and 15 kV 16.7 Hz AC). These locomotives were used primarily on international express trains and were among the important machines for international traffic.
