The 187 series, the first representative of Bombardier's third Traxx series, is a state-of-the-art electric bogie locomotive for 15 kV and 16.7 Hz as well as 25 kV 50 Hz AC systems. A special feature of the new locomotive is its 180 kW auxiliary diesel engine, which enables it to travel short distances without overhead lines at speeds of around 50 km/h. This detailed model of the locomotive is new for 2025.
