The T 466 2114 CSD diesel locomotive is a powerful locomotive designed for medium-duty shunting and mainline service. The model accurately represents the 4th series version with ribbed cab side panels and a ribbed roof. Fine detailing, separately applied parts and a clear cab-through view underline the high level of model quality.

 

The prototype was developed in the 1970s as a lighter version of the T 448 industrial locomotive, when the Czechoslovak State Railways required powerful diesel locomotives for freight and shunting operations. The T 466.2 series was produced by CKD Praha from 1977 in nine production batches with minor differences. A total of 494 locomotives were built and operated by CSD until 1986.

 

The model features fine detailing, filigree safety railings and a realistic appearance. In digital operation it offers switchable shunting light, cab lighting and additional light functions. Suitable for layouts and collections.
