We present a model of the popular Czechoslovak locomotive known as "Bardotka" in an unusual brown and yellow color combination.

The T 478.1 model series was a ČSD diesel-electric locomotive for universal use. The diesel-electric version was the first to be produced, and the first prototype, designed by Klézla, Krejsa, Straub, and Doležal under the designation T 478.1001, left the factory in November 1964, followed by a second in the spring of 1965.Between 1966 and 1971, 230 locomotives of the T 478.1 series and 82 locomotives of the T 478.2 series were delivered. In the 1990s, several very interesting color variants of this unique locomotive appeared, which was nicknamed "Bardotka" due to the shape of the locomotive's front under the driver's windows, which resembles a pointed female bust, especially from the side. At the time when the locomotive acquired this nickname, Brigitte Bardot was a sex symbol, which is why the locomotive began to be called "Bardotka."
