The ČSD T 679.1 diesel locomotive, known by the nickname "Sergej", is a detailed model in H0 scale (1:87), corresponding to the actual locomotive of the Czechoslovak State Railways from the IV era. The real locomotives of this series were manufactured from 1966 and were among the most powerful diesel engines of their time, especially for heavy freight transport. The model faithfully captures the characteristic appearance of the locomotive in its typical ČSD livery and offers a high level of detail, including precisely crafted bogies, finely separately mounted parts, and realistic printing.

The locomotive is designed for analog DC operation and is equipped with a five-pole motor with a flywheel, which ensures smooth and quiet running. The lighting is provided by LEDs and automatically switches according to the direction of travel (three white lights at the front, two red lights at the rear). The model is also ready for digitization thanks to the PluX22 interface, which allows for easy additional installation of a digital decoder. Of course, it features a NEM 362 coupler with short kinematics, good running characteristics, and the possibility of operation from a minimum radius of 358 mm.
